Our Sod Installation Services
A healthy lawn is all about what happens before the grass is laid. We don’t cut corners:
- Site Clearing & Old Grass Removal: We remove existing weeds, debris, and dead grass to create a clean slate.
- Soil Preparation: We till and amend the topsoil as needed, creating a nutrient-rich base that encourages rapid, deep root growth. Premium topsoil available upon request.
- Precision Laying: Our team installs the sod in a staggered "brick" pattern to eliminate visible seams and ensure full coverage.
- Initial Rolling & Watering: We roll the new grass to ensure 100% contact with the soil and provide the critical first deep-soak watering.
- Premium Sod Delivery: We source high-quality, farm-fresh sod (including Fescue, Bermuda, or Zoysia) suited perfectly for your yard's sunlight and shade levels.
- Bermuda Sod: Highly durable and sun-loving. Bermuda is excellent for high-traffic areas and families with pets.
- Zoysia Sod: A premium, carpet-like grass that is incredibly soft underfoot. It is more shade-tolerant than Bermuda and maintains a deep green color.
- Fescue Sod: The go-to choice for heavily shaded properties in the Chattanooga area, staying green even during the cooler months.
